I'd say a 5/10 show for me personally. I honestly feel like so many of these games and features are not made for older gamers like me. I fully expect Sony to blow me away at E3 2014 and make me want to buy the system.

Anyway look to Third-party support (Wii U jealous).

sounds familiar..

you decide to show up right when it's over.. lol
it's going to be a while because nobody is going to have recorded and uploaded the vidoe to youtube that quick. you might have to wait like an hour or 2

easy to develop for is meaningless to those companies you know that right? both companies have their own engines that they have to convert to an entirely new system before they start developing games.
Mixed.
Pros:
-Very powerful system, especially all that RAM.
-Killzone was visually stunning, so was Deep Down.
-Remote play to Vita is a neat feature that mirrors what the WiiU does.
Cons:
-The exclusive games were "meh". Killzone I would want to play purely for the visuals, which were the best I've ever seen, but the game itself seems like a generic shooter. The other games were nothing special, creativity-wise.
-The rest of the good games are multiplats - which isn't really a con, but it's not so much a pro when Destiny and Watch Dogs will be on all systems.
-Cost - it wasn't spoken but I would suspect the specs will make it costly to build.
So in summary, the system looks excellent but no exclusive amazing games were shown, and I'm worried about the price.

The beginning said it all. Its all out war. This is console Armageddon, only one of MS/Sony will remain after this gen (nintendo will always be around).
Sony was arrogant after PS2, but now understand they are dealing with a real monster in MS, who stole half their user-base. They basically announced a gaming HTPC, which I presume they want to be always on, as the ultimate entertainment solution. It will be costly no doubt, ($500+) but as long as its marketed correctly to show its value, it can succeed not just for gamers, but all tech enthusiasts.
MS will be right there to compete for the high end, but I suspect Nintendo will troll again with their far cheaper console, when reality sets in for parents as they shop. Having PS360 still on the market, could hurt all the next gen offerings as well, like we saw with Wii U, so it'll be interesting to see how long those get supported.

Guys, the games will come. Don't worry about that. Sony have yet to show off their best studios and a billion third party titles are yet to be revealed.
The price could be concerning though... I still think they can pull off $399 on the cheapest model.

Aside from the musical instrument part which was just brutal to watch (luckily it was only a minute or two long), it was a perfect conference. Extremely well done.
