Possibly. I just know when I download games on the PS3 they don't mask it and for PS1 games they leave the install file on my HDD. But I'm glad they compress it to shorten the download time.

i think the file isn't deleted because is the same to use on a PSP or PSV... so after you install the PS1 classic you can copy it to your PSP/PSV or delete it... so no need to download the file to install in PS3, DL and install in PSP and DL and install in PSV... keeps you from DL several times the same file...

diffrent machines, different code... different size game. ALWAYS. but this huge difference must be,mainly, from the different DL and install methods.

Ahhh. Well that makes sense. I don't have any portables anymore, so I hadn't even thought of that.
