Within 2 weeks I expect to have my Xperia Z, the flagship Android phone.

I plan on upgrading to the Sony Xperia Z also once this is released here in the UK as it really looks to be a brilliant phone + upgradable memory = SOLD!!

Their Trinitron TVs and monitors rocked. I was so happy when I got my own Trinitron TV in the room. The war was over as was the era of communism; and everyone was buying Sony TVs.

Sony invented portable music players... Was almost completely responsible for the invention of the VCR, CD, VCD, DVD, and Blu-Ray...

Sony also created the first major MMO success story when it released EverQuest - A game that has influenced every other hit MMO that has followed. (WoW's two lead developers have gone on record saying that they met in EverQuest and spent the majority of WoW's development cycle trying to figure out how they could , "Beat the perfect game - at its own game"...Eventually they discovered that more people would play if the game was easier.)

I could go on about what else they are responsible for, but that would be a VERY long list! I will just say that they are almost single-handedly responsible for the world of entertainment as it is today.
