My take is that The Last Guardian, being a Sony production has already moved on to the PS4. It makes more sense for Sony to use the IP in order to push consoles.

On the other hand, based on that Square has already began working on proper next gen gfx (Agnis Philisophy) they are unlikely to scrap whatever work done on the PS3 that coupled with the 70+ million user base of the console they have little reason to move Versus to the PS4. They want to sell copies and not to be Sony's killer launch app.

 TLG is on the PS4, Versus is on the PS3.

those gamers must be painfully missimformed as they have absolutely no reason to believe that Versus is either vaporware or a troll bate.

they are just taking their frustration and interpreting it as Square's incompetence when Square has objectively been hard at work for years now. they messed up XIV and they are trying to fix it

If FFVXIII got announced for PS4 it would be a slap to the face imo. I bought a PS3 for games like FFVXIII (among others), I will not buy a PS4 for it. However a pricecut with PS3 and FFVXIII release date at the same time would be big.

In this case, those suttle reveals like the perfume seem pretty glaring. Why now reveal a Noctis frangrance line? Its viral marketing of sorts. If this wasn't done diliberately to hint at something, it would be rather pointless to do at all.

I agree here. The #1 reason I choose to purchase the PS3 day 1 over the Xbox 360 because I assume they will be the better of the two for JRPGs. Not the case for the first 3 years and I'm still very bitter over it.
