Who says and believes Versus13 got cancelled?

They said it a million times.
The Versus13 Team aka TEAM NOMURA had to help out the Final Fantasy 14 Reboot Team.
The only team not doing that is those randoms who are responsible for FF13-2-Lighting Returns.
(and before that we all know Nomura stopped giving infos and said he has to change a few things when Wada said Microsoft asked if they can have Versus13 too.And Nomura HATES Microsoft and probably rather starts to mess around with the game than giving it out to his enemy)

Kinda funny decision from SE - The only sane Team leader has to stop his project so he can help others out while the team who is destroying SquareEnix and their reputation in a single gen can do whatever they want.

I don't think people believe it's cancelled but more along the lines that given how a number of games in recent times have turned out after long chaotic development (Aliens CM being the new member of this club) things aren't as positive as before and given SE's output in the past 5 years it's not encouraging.

How will I know if I want to play the game if I don't know how the protagonist smells like ?

That's the most common BS regarding Versus.

Objectively, we know nothing about the development of Versus which has been advancing in the shadow of a bunch of other games. They had 400 people working for A Realm Reborn for God's sake.

How can you call it chaotic if it's not the only damn game they are making ?
