Forums - Gaming - should i buy Ni No Kuni?

I'd say go for Sly. It looks like a solid platformer, maybe not as good as the trilogy but still very worht while. Ni no Kuni looks very time demanding and I personally, as much as I love RPGs, don't have that kind of time anymore (hence why I have yet to beat Xenoblade on my Wii since i got it early 2012)

may aswell you can always just sell it for close to what you bought it for.

I can understand those that say 'if you're not big on jrpg u shouldnt get it'. But honestly Ni No Kuni is probably one of the best jrpg for gamers that havent played alot of jrpg. It has a great story and balanced yet not crazy complicated. This game is great for experienced and unexperienced jrpg players.

so would you say for a rookie player it is a good entry ?

yeah probably i'll go with sly first and wait for discount on ni no kuni. i don't wanna pay60 bucks for something i might not like but this is the first jrpg that i am interested and i'll will buy it when it get some sort of discount.

Ni No Kuni does so much right in the game. I just fucking hate how easy it is. If a game doesn't challenge me I feel cheated.

Yes definitely.  The mechanics is very easy to learn and fun too.  I've already recommended this to a friend who's never played an rpg and he's loving it.
