Because PS3 is not close to the end of life like 360 is.

The trend is PS3 begining to outsell 360 in UK.

Only US I think the gap will close but remain to 360 favor... the gap is bigger in US.

The 360 dominates the UK. Its the most popular system there and prices of software are usually lower than the PS3 ones.
It might be that due to the 360 basically having nothing in the horizon that the PS3 is now creeping up.

Like I said it's year... the drop yoy is bigger for 360 than PS3... that's happened last year too.

-12gig PS3 seems to be catching on.
-People hyped for The Last of Us and God of War so bought their PS3 in advance
-PS4 hype might be helping a bit too

but I thought no one in the UK knew about the PS4 reveal? lol
