Forums - Sony - Official Playstation Meeting Live Stream -Feb 20th 23:00 GMT (Ended)

not really impressed. I hate the social aspects. No price announcement, don't know if it's BC,don't know if it'll still play blue-ray's. Don't know the exact date. Nothing new they showed really stood out in my mind. look another racer and a shooter. big deal.

That got quite boring towards the end. 3rd party developers are not brave, won't take any risks.

Yeah, that part was pretty meh compared to the beginning. Watch Dogs looks like a fun game though.

Woah!!!!! PS4 has Racer and Shooter!!!!!!!!

So basically Sony says buy PS4 because it is like PS3 but with better graphics?

Yea, I agree. This is all that it showed to me.Nothing really new or interesting.Well thank god my 5 year old Ps3 is still working and I have 9001 games still to play.

Take my love, take my land..

Great presentation over all. Nice new IP's, and some familiar faces as well. Overall I am pleased. I don't care much for the whole social aspect in all honesty, and I was hoping they would have something on illumaroom.

I was walking down along the street and I heard this voice saying, "Good evening, Mr. Dowd." Well, I turned around and here was this big six-foot rabbit leaning up against a lamp-post. Well, I thought nothing of that because when you've lived in a town as long as I've lived in this one, you get used to the fact that everybody knows your name.

It was only after reading your post that it dawned on me that we hadn't actually seen the PS4.

i think sony won this one... LOL

Proudest Platinums - BF: Bad Company, Killzone 2 , Battlefield 3 and GTA4

This was Sony's chance to get back ahead of Xbox. That'll never happen now, that was too much of a poor chowing.

Why didn't Kaz Hirai present?!? Makes all those annoying Kaz Hirai gifs look a bit pointless now. Also, why couldn't they just show us a picture of the machine?!?

Overall, I was very impressed, and Xbox will really have to do something completely never seen before to steal the PS4's hype.
Also, the meeting was really good at the beginning then got really boring in the second hour.

Maybe it's my difficult to please cynical nature, but I was pretty underwhelmed. The games looked great, but I kinda expected them to. The games were very typical Sony - shooters, explosions, and racers. Just not really my cup of tea. Not sure why I expected Sony to win me over now when they never really have. Guess I'm getting desperate after Nintendo let me down with the Wii U lol..

Really wish they revealed a price. The fact that they chose to held it back kinda tells me that they're reluctant to reveal it. That's going to be a HUGE factor for me, as well as BC, and we still don't really have the details of either.

I do like the idea of the instant streaming gameplay, taking videos, etc. I also appreciate the idea of playing games you're downloading WHILE downloading them. That is something that always bugged me with 360. The Vita streaming WOULD be cool if I had a Vita or ever planned on buying one lol.

I might still get a PS4, just depends on if MS can blow my mind at E3 or before then, and like I said, if the price is cheap enough AND has BC. Won't be getting both consoles. Jury is still out for me.

Well that was lame, they didn't even show the console. Just showed a bunch of crap like the one from the makers of Braid, Knack, Media Molicules new game etc.

Only Killzone and Watch Dogs were any good.

Yea they should have just had the console on stage for 2 hours with no gameplay or talk about future possibilties.
