Are you sure this Countdown is right? Cause it sets me up for 9p.m. tomorrow and I'm pretty sure the event starts at 12p.m. in GTM+1.

That is another way to go about it but I just thought that with a built in PS3 they'd also be improving Blu Ray adoption rates while increasing the life of the PS3 as it will be somewhat forgotten after the PS4 has launched. Pretty much, using any last drops of appeal the PS3 might have in established markets to improve their businesses across the board while making their TV, gaming, movie and music ventures more appealing world-wide in less established PS markets.

Emerging markets (and heck, even some fully established markets) will have problems with the whole streaming of games thing due to bandwidth restrictions (Screw you CRTC!) so giving the hardware away seemed the better route to me. It would also improve awareness of the PS brand on a whole so it might even help PS4 in the future when PS5 is coming and PS3 TV owners are looking to upgrade to their next gaming experience in an emerging market. It's like the whole PS2 still kicking butt this gen. When all these PS2 owners look to upgrade, they'll most likely look to the PS3. Giving them this TV option is a "two birds with one stone" scenario, and can have a ripple effect for gens to come (if gaming survives ).

Oh and if you like my ideas, write to Sony to hire me as an idea and strategy guy. I wouldn't mind making an absurd amount of money for a living for thinking up screwy road maps.

i hope they bring back that users chose were to spawn, not spawn points. in killzone 3 like 90% of the matches are who ever gets the spawn points win. and if your a tactition then your entire game is just capturing spawn point
