When I was a kid I used to anxiously await the lates Nintendo Power each month to learn about new games coming up. The anticipation of opening the mailbox and seeing that yellow writing was great.  Forget about Nintendo Force or anything else, Nintendo Direct is the Nintendo Power for the digital age.  A monthly (or more) update straight from Nintendo about upcoming games, almost always with at least one exciting reveal.  It's awesome and it's easy to get excited just like in the old days at the post office.  The only thing is you don't get to pour over the magazine again and again and you have no collection.  But I'm sure many of us watched that X video on repeat!

I can understand this sentiment. But there was just something amazing about having those pretty magazine spreads in person.

Ah.. to be 12 again.

As a person who never had the chance to experience the Nintendo Power mags, I feel your excitement for ND to be digital age of the mags. Mainly about Nintendo news from Tips&Tricks and other gaming mags that I rarely aquire from time to time...
