I like the taste of beer but I'm seldomly in the mood for the effect alcohol has. Alcoholfree beer is disgusting.

Where lies the issue in the effect that it has on you?

I enjoy the effect every now and then but it's not that every time I would like to drink a beer or two I want the effect with it ie. light-headed or sleepyness.

Beer/wine are the kind of stuff that you possible start to like on an older age. Like some children don't like to eat Fish/sprouts etc...But when they get older they somehow start to enjoy eating it....Everyone has an kind of food they not enjoy as kid but loved when they got older. Some who not enjoy a bear around their 12-16 age start to like it later....

Yup, I can confirm this.

Every alcoholic drink has a trace of what the last one tasted like. Surprisingly (or maybe not...) this is the alcohol that they put in the drink to make it an alcoholic drink. People don't like that.

This thread and others like it really baffle me. I would really like to know what the average user age is here, might lend some insight to the strong views. Blows my mind that this many people find it not only okay but somehow morally just to lecture people about their own decisions to engage in legal activities.

From what I've tasted so far in my young life - hell no.Would you really say you could taste any similarities between Whiskey, Vodka, Beer and Prosecco etc. just because they all contain alcohol? Hell.No.

Never had an alcoholic drink nor do I ever plan to. Not sure why the OP is pushing people to drink...

The only one out of those that I have tasted is Beer. But, I've had Champagne and Wine too. I can pick out similarities.

Kudos to you then...because I couldn't pick any, even when I drank them for the very first time^^
