Any 3DS/PSV numbers leaked already?

Around the Network

Ni No Kuni placed just outside the top ten at number eleven, and PS3 software overall did well by losing only 2 percent of its overall sales from January 2012.

"Ni No Kuni placed just outside the top ten at number eleven"

Yay!

Does that mean VGC tracked this adequately? You're the expert, I don't want to figure it out.

Well I can't really tell because we don't have any software numbers but unless everything else is undertracked we probably have Ni No Kuni overtracked. It was expected though. It still surely did over 100k which is honestly very good.

So the requirements are price drop to $200, Mario Kart and one of Zelda/3D Mario/Smash to launch. Can't see any other way to match a 3DS turnaround.

Well, the 3DS got a Zelda remake, 3D Mario (sort of) and Mario Kart.

Wii U is getting a Wind Waker remake and both 3D Mario and Mario Kart are confirmed to be on their way.

History, repeats itself it does. The cut is coming.

Could Iwata lose his job over these poor sales?

I know they exist, the condition is that two of them have to launch THIS year. And just cutting Deluxe to $250 doesn't represent a cut at all so it has to be $200 and god knows how much money they'd be burning to do so.

"Ni No Kuni “was just outside of the top ten game ranking at eleventh” but would have ranked at #7 if sales of individual games weren’t combined into groups by platform."

We have it at #5 for single SKU. I just wish they'd give us the actual number already -.-

Iwata better start preparing his job resume if those numbers are true. Unreal, that's worse than the GameCube.

Where do they have monthly Gamecube sales? Do you have a link?

Also, OOF! An average of 10k per week? That's gruesome. The VGC numbers already looked bad enough...
