Forums - Sales - Is 10k signatures enough for Ubisoft?

The petition for the Wii u version of rayman (get down there asap and sign, everyone!) has reached over 10,000 signatures. All this in less than a week. Ithink that is pretty impressive. It got to 5,000 super quick, 7,500 pretty quick, then slowed a little to 10,000 but there now, so people need to keep on signing to keep up momentum. Was wondering what the next target will be, found out it is 15k. Seems pretty impressive to me so far. How high do people think this can get and what number do you think it has to reach (if any) for Ubisoft to take any notice?

In my opinion the N64 was not just the best console of the 5th gen but, to this day the best console ever created!

I don't think so. 10k sales won't make a big difference.

It's about half of the game's US pre-orders as of February 2nd. Lol.

not even 100k would be enough

100k should be the sweet spot.

Nope. I would say that only 10% (if that) of people who signed the petition ever intended to purchase the game.

Just wait for the game and don't bother yourself.

Nope. Ubisoft is the new devil.

That's a fraction of a fraction of how many unit sales would warrant a port. Maybe if it gets up to 50k-ish signs it could catch Ubis attention

Bear in mind that only core gamers will even know about the petition. Am sure Ubi are aware that most of their sales will come from mainstream gamers, unaware of petitions. I say that if the petition reaches 50k (if poss) in next few weeks then ubi can't ignore it, surely?
