They have two teams now. Presumably the second one is making Uncharted 4. For launch. Just like in my dream! Which means Final Fantasy VII Remake confirmed. |
I didn't know know they have a second team.
The bold part: Believe!

Yeah, the other team has been working on something, presumably UC4, since late 2011. That would give them two years of development at PS4's launch (assuming it launches this year), but I don't think that'll be enough time seeing as it's a new platform. My guess would be holiday 2014.
Uncharted 4
Killzone 4
Gran Turismo 6 Prologue
The Last Guardian
Sucker Punch New IP
Media Molecule New IP or LittleBigPlanet 3 (Perhaps too soon)
Metal Gear Solid Ground Zero
Ratchet & Clank 4K Lulz
Dark Souls 2
Fallout 4
Final Fantasy Versus XIII
If half of these are available within the first 6 months then I'd buy PS4 day 1.

Gran Turismo 5 released in 2010, they didnt release anything since. so by the release of the PS4 late this year they would have had 3 years to be already working on the game. the release of GT6 is very likely to happen in the first two years of the console, unless they are fully focused on a vita version. - Quantic Dream, There last game released early 2010 since then they been working on Beyond: Two souls which will release either Q3 or Q4 this year, this pretty much killed the possibility of PS4 game anytime soon, but a couple of weeks ago it leaked that they registered the domain for SingularityPS4.com which suggests that they are now two teams at QD, like many other sony developers. this is all up in the air though, it could be that david cage already knows what he is gonna do next and just registed the domain now. - Evolution Studio's - previously worked on the motorstorm games, they teased on twitter saying "10 days" 10 days before the sony meeting on the 20th of feb, suggesting that they will reveal their game in the confrence |
Your thoughts are close to where mine are about the whole thing. I am really loving how Sony has the biggest players (ND,SMS, GG,MM,Sony Japan) mostly split into teams of 2 or more, dishing out greatness wherever they can.
They truly have something good going here and should continue down this path.

A 2014 release is totally posible.
I remember a few months back Sony renewed their trademark for 'The Legend of Dragoon'. I hope that they decide to release their own JRPG again instead of relying on Final Fantasy which I no longer consider a good series.

In a nutshell, it's an open world zombie survival MMO that started as a mod for Arma 2 (a military sim for PC), and is now being developed into it's own standalone game. The alpha for the standalone will be releasing in the next couple months, and I expect the beta to release by the end of the year. It's only on PC, but the guy leading development said in the future console releases are possible. I doubt we'll see that until it's out of beta though, which could be a couple of years.
