Simple story, I bought a PSP last year, about 20 games, holding off the DS games until I get a 3DS XL so I can play them with a larger screen, of these games which should I play next?

My Favorite Handheld Games so far (for reference):

Advance Wars Series
Fire Emblem Series
Final Fantasy Remakes
Golden Sun Series
Metroid Fusion

I like traditional JRPG's and SRPG's.

You seem to like RPG and Strategy. Play Final Fantasy Tactics.

My opinion is that it is the greatest story ever written for a video game.

From what I've heard there are a ton of great RPGs and strategy RPGs on the PSP -- Final Fantasy, Jeanne d'Arc, etc. -- but I haven't had a chance to play them yet.

So I'll just recommend these:

Patapon -- a strategy/god game
Killzone Liberation -- third-person shooter
Daxter -- platformer
God of War: Chains of Olympus -- action-adventure

They don't really match up with your favorites, but they're all good games.

All not the types of games I'm interested in at all. However I am playing Resistance now.

I've heard great things, but I've beaten a lot of Final Fantasy games, and I kinda want to try something new. I will play most of the games on this poll by years end though.

Persona 3 Portable =D

Tactics ogre dude. It's an SRPG.

I would also recommend Final Fantasy Tactics, one of my favorite games ever. It's actually not all that similar to the other FF games at all, save for maybe the job change mechanic.

Tactics Orge:Let us Cling Together is freakin awesome! Really well made and thanks to the branching storylines it has a lot of replay value. I would definitely at least try it out.

Hmm, it's not really an RPG but perhaps Monster Hunter might interest you? Killing enemies in order to craft better equipment is pretty addictive and the weapon variety is pretty good, lots of fun to be had trying out different weapon types.

I think I'm going to go with Persona 3. I want a break from the SRPG genre, I just beat a really damn good Fire Emblem (Hero's of Light and Shadow - wasn't localized). After Persona 3 I'll either finish Valkyria Chronicles 2, or jump to Tactics Ogre.

I might change my mind, if more people vote. Need something for work tomorrow, I got a job where I get a lot of paid time to sit and wait for others.

Good choice! You should give us an update on how you like it, I personally think Persona 3 and 4 are the best games ever made. I don't know what it is about them but whenever I play them I don't want the games to end.

What are your thoughts on Persona 1 and 2, or other SMT games like Strange Journer, Devil Summoner, and the main series?

I have Persona 1, 2 and Strange Journey, and I thought playing Persona 3 would give me an idea of if I like the franchise, and what to expect for SMT4 for the 3DS.
