Obviously not, whatever specs on the ps4 will be natural progression (for them). The main selling point should be an "always on" entertainment. HTPC.

I got PS3 for $100 from craigslist to play Watchdog and Last of Us. Games matter more so I agree.
**im tired of all this beefy war.
Now I'm actually encouraged. Maybe I can afford a new generation this time.

From the looks of it I will be getting a PS4 for sure. Onebox sounds awful. I just want a controller in my hands to play games the normal way. Having my living room turning into a 3D death match doesn't sound good.
Ask stefl1504 for a sig, even if you don't need one.
Not a surprise, they're likely using a similar processor to the PS3, considering 8 cores is still peaking it for the majority of PCs out there. They're likely taking a page out of Nintendo's book, where Nintendo used GC parts to put together the Wii, Sony is likely transporting its PS3 investments into the PS4. Extra memory, a faster gpu, and more HD space will be the main features, not major graphical leaps.
Interesting to see how they're going to go, seems like they're planning to make a go for the casuals. Worked well for Nintendo last gen.

Didn't see this one comin'. When will people understand that "Next Gen" has multiple definitions and none of them are %100 correct. It matters what games are on it. Graphics cores and stuff is neat but I'm not going to get a system just for the graphics, that's rediculous. When Sega Genesis came out it had the horrible "Sword of Vermillion" RPG which had better graphics than Dragon Warrior IV but it sold like crap compared to Dragon Quest IV. Same year release dates too. I think Nintendo and Microsoft could have gone all out if they wanted to but I don't think this console war will be won by specs alone. If it is, I will be highly disappointed. It's not what hardware you have, it's what you can do with the hardware.

What in the world are you talking about. The ps4 is more than likely using a CPU and GPU that are like PCs. All the rumors on the ps4 specs, which are all saying the same thing now, point to the ps4 being a pretty big jump. It will be a huge mistake for Sony and MS to not get specs that will play all of the high end PC games at 1080p and 60fps at ultra settings plus having room for even more improvement on graphics and other stuff.

That's exactly what I'm saying; what will Sony offer to the main stream? I'm really curious because I don't think we've heard anything about it?
I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!
Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
