Forums - Sony - Is Sony all done with PS1 classics?

How long has it been since a PS1 classic come out? Wasn't Tomba the last one back in June??? Tekken 3 isn't even available so what the hell is going on?

I'm still holding out hope that we'll get Suikoden II.

Not releasing the second one after the first one is evil, but at least you americans got something.

In Europe instead of Suikoden, Resident Evil 2, 3, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Tomb Rider II and Castlevania SotN we got Superstar Dance Club, a port of Robocod and a few others.

That's what we get for buying their systems more than any other region.

Too busy porting them to Vita maybe?

Thought they were all done bringing them to vita.

I was glad they finally got Tomba! on there(I heard it was a bitch to get too), but the Japan PSN has like every PS1 game ever and all we have is around 100 or so (Even less for the EU PSN). If I don't see Suikoden 2 and the Tales of games on the U.S. PSN, I'm just gonna break down and emulate them. I'll be damned if I pay $250+ for them on Ebay or Amazon.

I am the Playstation Avenger.

I don't see why Fear Effect 1 & 2, Tekken 3 and Tomba 2 aren't on there. Tomba 2 is on the Jap PSN but no where else. Bunch of games that are available in one region but not others.

Just bring Chrono Trigger across to Europe! I have thoroughly enjoyed playing the old FF games on my Vita, so it is worth digitizing all of them, particularly the good ones!

Tomba2 is on the European store, so it should be on the american too?

look it up, got a pretty quiet lauch there, but I bought it day1 :) :)

They still regularly release new stuff. Off the top of my head, Urban Chaos, Tomba 2, Tall Unlimited etc. is some recent stuff. We got Crisis Beat this week.

It's just, there has been more of a focus on PS2 classics lately.
