People call everything and anything a gimmick nowadays. The potential for voice recognition in games is brilliant. Although I never used it much, command your allies in ME3 tod to an attack just through saying the attack, definitely felt more natural in reward then have to go through a menu. The reason I didn't use it much is because half the times it would launch the wrong attack or just not respond at all. Assume kinect 2 will fix accuracy problems.
