how much sales this does game need to be considered a success? it just did 200K in japan. but sales in the west seem to be helping it greatly, its at 540k now, it 1million doesnt seem like impossible at the moment

The game is like 40+ hours long. You can't justify a $59.99 purchase? People must really think very little of JRPG's these days.

Well, "wanting it so bad" should be enough of a justification to buy it at $59.99

If its not reason enough, then you don't really want it "that bad", and just probably think that you want it but in reality, its more of a meh, cool if I do, and cool if I dont kind of situation.

Not really, I cant even see myself buying a 3D Mario game at that price either ;p and I'm a huge Mario fan (not of New Super Mario Bros though).

But oh well, hopefully my financial situation gets better and maybe I'll start buying games at that price :O.

Real life issues/bills/committments/obligations/etc > Gaming unfortunately ;(
