Forums - Sony - I was really enjoying Ghost of Sparta and then...

Ready At Dawn decided to throw in one of the cheapest GOW battles ever. It was cheap enough when I fought multiple medusa's and the ball creature but now I'm in the battle where I have to fight two of those enemies that carry that huge ball around and teleport on top of four harpies just to be annoying. I had them all killed and suddenly one more of that enemy with that giant ball spawned again. Would have been super easy to take him down if I was given just a little help for each kill before but nope nothing. I'm no slouch when it comes to God of War either.  I'm playing this on hard but this is just cheap and unbalanced. Most of the time I can't even roll out of the way. Block doesn't work either. Magic doesn't do crap. I used up all my magic and still the first two weren't dead. Am I missing something? do these things have a specific weakness? I tried turning them into stone and that doesn't work either.

Around the Network

Jump and grab harpies with O to kill them first. Then stay behindthe ball dudes because they can't hit you. Right when one of them lifts the ball roll backwards or side because forwards doesn't get you out of the range of the ball slam. Backward rolls you to next to where they spawn so the ball should fall in front of you.

As for magic I like the void. It sucks health from them and you can pull out three at a time. I'd use it after killing the harpies though.

I beat it. I always took care of the harpies first. It took me like 20 times but I did pretty good once I finally beat it. Like a dumbass I was using lightning on them because it was crowd control but really weak against them. I did end up using void. The trick was to use enough to get them sucked up in the middle so I could use Thera's Bane on them. Really tough though. I rolled to the side on a lot and then I would get slammed by the second hit.
