I guess that's pretty much it. Honorable mention to Need For Speed Carbon which I replayed once about one year ago, and a couple of times before that.

I'll play any game from any gen if I enjoy them, haha. Games specifically from this gen would be MGS 4, GTA 4, TLoZ TP, the Galaxy games, Dead Space 1+2, and Metroid Prime 3 right of the top of my head.

Why is the poll flawed? I mean its basically 2x NO! early games are shitty and 1x I go and play the games I missed. Where is the simple YES! answer? Lol...


I play everytype of game no matter when it was released as long as it is a good one.

This thread makes me feel old because the games mentioned don't sound that early gen to me.

The Streets of Rage series still gets played, along with Golden Axe and similar. Re-played SMB3 a few years ago. Bomberman still gets played every now and again.

I bought a lot of the xbla HD updates of games from the 16bit and 32bit era and 8bit and 16bit era on Wii virtual console. Sometimes, quality stands the test of time.

Uncharted 1, Ratchet and Clank ToD, MGS4, Motostorm Pacific Rift (think that came out in 08).

So many great games I missed. I see no reason to rush myself in the next gen.
