I think you can do speed run in less than 40 hours for the main story but if you want to do everything like me than over 100 hours for sure.

I would stick to main story for a game that long lol I was looking for a good entry JRPG (haven't given them a chance since I was a lot younger and a lot less patient). Is there a particular FF or other JRPG that would be good beginner one you think?

I bought 7, 8 and 9 from last year's final fantasy sale. I still have the PS1 copies as well, but will sell those some day for way more than 5 euros each hehe.
