its a good game, but its clear ubisoft lost its way with that game, it just doesnt give you that feel of being an "assassin". also the setting of the american revolution sucked ass. it just doesnt fit this game

Yet they think China or Japan setting won't.....

Even then Max Payne 3 got decent reviews, mostly in the 80's and 90's. It's still by far a good game, better than anything EA published thats for sure. 

Yep. That is my point. Even ignoring the metacritic. Take Two/2K main really high quality. Last year they Max Payne 3, X-COM Enemy Unknown, Spec Ops: The Line, Borderlands 2 and still maintain the quality of NBA 2K13. I am sure i am missing some but these are some quality game here. 

This year they have Bioshock Infinite and GTA 5 as their big games. I am sure there are more. Quality publisher. 

If they 83 last year, then by far this year, take two will be the best publisher. GTA V and Bioshock Infinite are not just games of 2013, but the games of a generation. People will remember this generation for games like this.

I've encountered more bugs in AC3 than in Skyrim & Fallout 3 combined (over 200 hours) and I haven't even finished AC3 yet. The game was extremely rushed and that's very noticeable.
So far it's my least favourite AC game (though I have barely played Revelations).

as a huge assassins creed fan i recommend you skip revelations. its boring as hell, and if you think AC3 was rushed than your probably going to have a heart attack with revelations. it adds nothing to the story of either desmond or templars vs assassins. it actually make me deslike ezio a bit too. the mission are boring and it relies WAY to much on "eagle vision" to find your targets thats it very illogical and at point annoying. and i agree with you, after revelations AC3 is my least favorite assassins creed game. also connor is a douche and by far the worst assassin to date

its a clear marketing tool, show the american flag, eagle in the sky, american revolution and a dude taking on an army by him self will sell gangbusters. did you see those fan made art of an assassins creed in china? they were nothing short of breath taking

sony had a rather bad year when it came to exclusives. yes the games they released were pretty fun like twisted metal or PS all stars. but they didnt have those big budget games that blew everyone away like in 2011 or what we will get this year. any sony fan can tell you that this year wasnt the best for ps exclusives. maybe on the vita thats a different case though with games like LBP and gravity rush


You're right, i'll give you that. Sony had a pretty weak year last year, especially seeing that their top first party was pushed back. Can't say having a GOTY nominee that beat out halo for a nomination spot didn't surprise you though.

people actually giving journy props was surpsing ill give you that. its well desreved to

Was thinking the same. Microsoft would have been higher without those poor Kinect scores.
Very good year for them. A bit suprised by EA...
