Power consumption is the limiting factor for both next gen consoles. The cpu/gpu power difference will be small.

Yes but that's not where gaf had the info. They were going by information from thuway, aegis and proelite with some very early info from sweetvar26 (who iirc was the first to leak the terms..orbis and durango) ..even vgleaks had an article way way before the kotaku one that was considered to be closest to the actual info (outside of RAM). At the moment most detailed leaks has been from vgleaks.

Superdae iirc did give us some early info about the wiiu. I might be wrong about that tho
