I found a good deal on a vita its complete with wires and cables and book for 169 bucks.
How are the batterys in used vitas would i have a problem with it.

I got a used PS Vita, an 8gb memory card, Uncharted: GA, LittleBigPlanet and a case for £120 ($190). That sounds like a good deal, just give it a check over when you recieve it, check for screen issues as well (colour tints under low lighting, vertical streaks).

The battery life on a used Vita shouldn't be any different unless they've really neglected it. Mine's about as long as my PSP-1000 and my friend's old 3DS, so you should be fine with it.

I bought mine used. should pretty much be the same as new. as long as the person didnt throw it around the house like a ball.

Make sure it has a memory card of some kind with it. What color is it? Unless you're willing to wait for a price cut, that's a pretty good price. Get PS+ and you'll have several games right off the bat.
