I loved Heavy Rain so much but I still prefered The Walking Dead. It was just that awesome.

Now that I have completed both games I can tell you that the choice system is probably better in Heavy Rain though.

Well, they're adventure games with story focus.  So, I will agree I let gameplay aspects slide, I did demand higher story telling standards.  I found mixed results with both games in narrative, and thinking it over, combinging both's best qualities could make a truly remarkable tale to experience...and an average game.
