Sorry but the concave sticks ruin it. Sony learned from the boomerang that unnecessary change is a very bad idea.

The idea just seems ridiculous unless they are wanting to use it as a keyboard or something as that area of the pad is wholly inaccessible.

I sure hope not, the Dualshock controller is fine as it is. Adding anything to it will confuse 3rd parties and they won't make any games for it because they may not have the "WOW" factor needed to fully utilize the new tech.

Or something.

Well this is surely what the rumour told us alright. However, going by these pics/mockups, I don't see how such a touchpad would be effectively and comfortably usable in any conceivable way.

We'll know by the 20th I guess.
