...why would you want this service as an exclusive? also, why would you suggest having to pay for it? I thought you were against such things...

Last time I used crackle on my 360 it was just as glitchy. I watched movies last night on my PS3 without an issue though. The only stoppage in it was the commercials.

I doubt it, the PS3 doesn't use skype, Sony has their own video chat. They don't really need Microsofts acquisitions. The only thing they need from MS is probably Windows for their PC's and thats about it.
