i cannot stand JRPGS because of the combat... i really tried getting into ni no kuni because i love everything else about it but... :(

Western RPGs and open world in general to be more broad. I tend to dislike Japanese games. I  come from the United States of America .. Half the site is probably from America or a Wander alt.

I'm an American and my favorite Genre is Mario.

Shooter FPS/TPS

USA

If this is some sort of parody to mock those who say "America loves shooters" and such, then it's too subtle. If it's a genuine effort to find out whether people of certain countries like certain genres, then you should realize that this site will give you a very small, very biased sample that is useless for making generalizations for countries.

Well it is a three part reason for me. But yes I know this will not be accurate among gamers across the world, but I want to see vgchartz members and what there majority is.

1.  People say America loves shooters, Europe loves racers and RPGs, and Japan loves JRPG's.  I believe it is true among people who dont come to these forums but these forums wont show it.

2.  I want to see what Vgchartz members like because all in honesty I think we have a very central crowd on a few genres and lack others. Not saying which ones.

3. And lastly I'm just curious on what the big genre on vgchartz is but I think i have a good guess.
