The whole thing about no 80 gigs is still a rumour. NPD released some info saying that 80 gig actually outsold the 40 gig. My guess is that sony is releasing another sku (white). Oh and the ps3 is already using software emulation in the 80 gig. 60 gig had ps2 hardware. The 80 gig can play most ps2 games without problem

it still has the PS2 GPU in it...


Whereas the 40Gb doesn't which is why it (the 40Gb sku) doesn't have BC.
