Forums - Sony - Ni No Kuni isn't the savior of JRPGs

FF needs more whimsy and less overly melodramatic teenage drama. So, in that regard, Square should take some cues from Ni No Kuni.

I would prefer not. Square could write better, but the story in Ni No Kuni is nothing special.

I didn't mention Ni No Kuni's story, I mentioned it's whimsical nature, and not some teenage drama with glamorous girls and pretty-boys trotting around talking nonsense.

The Screamapillar is easily identified by its constant screaming—it even screams in its sleep. The Screamapillar is the favorite food of everything, is sexually attracted to fire, and needs constant reassurance or it will die.

i got it today and i have to say if you like jrpg it is impossible not to fall in love with it KH,FF,DQ fans will sure love it
