Forums - Sony - First confirmed PS4 title

We all know next-gen is coming, and with Sony's teaser trailer last night it looks like the PS4 could be headed our way sooner than we first thought.

But a developer's CV, as spotted by internet-sleuth Superannuation, suggests Ubisoft could well be developing a game for the PS4 that may well be called Ivory Tower.

The CV of Sébastien Alzamora - Lead 3D Artist at Ubisoft Annecy - has revealed the name of an unannounced game "Ivory Tower" which is in development for Xbox 360, PS3 and - excitingly - PS4.

The CV is dated at 2011, however, which means two things: first, that the game has been in development as far back as two years ago. Secondly, that the information is at least that old and could, in theory, have been cancelled anyway.

However, other details suggest that this might not actually be the case - since it seems Ubisoft Annecy is currently hard at work on an "undisclosed project".

Ubisoft Annecy is a little known developer and is primarily an outsourcing studio for Ubisoft, and have worked on multiplayer for Assassin's Creed among other things.

Just to add fuel to the speculation, fellow Ubisoft Annecy developer Jérôme Kedzierski- a Senior Level Artist - also states how he is currently working on an "Undisclosed Project" with a tantalising tease of a description coming "soon".

Ubisoft Annecy is currently hiring for a number of roles, the most important of which being Online Programmer, Lead Level Artist and Live Programmer.

LinkedIn profiles for a number of Ubisoft Annecy developers all claim to be working on an unannounced game, the most interesting being Associate Producer Olivier Saillantwho claims to be working on a "New AAA project".

Update: Turns out Ivory Tower is in fact the name of the development studio, but many of the original points still stand.

Ivory Tower is a development studio formed from a lot of the members of the original Eden Games - the team behind VRally and Test Drive Unlimited.

Ivory Tower is based in Lyon, France as is the case with Ubisoft Annecy, so the crossover with the details below could still be relevant.

Additionally, Ivory Tower is working exclusively with Ubisoft on bringing the game to the market - which wouldn't be much of a stretch to claim will be a new racing game.

Many of the developer's current job positions are tailored towards online multiplayer gaming, with the site claiming Ivory Tower intends to break "new ground in online and digital gaming".

Ivory Tower is the name of the studio.  Not the name of the game.  It's obvious when you look at the resume format.

and this ends that
