It could go both ways. Fans always overhype new consoles, that usually never means the console will sell like cupcakes. We could see a Vita situation again, where fans were hyping the console and it haven't meet expectation (sales wise). The same thing happened with the 3DS, the only difference it's that the 3DS is doing well now, but that's a different argument.

Too early to say without knowing release date, games, price or pretty much anything about the console. I think the price (even more so than games) will be the main factor that will decide if the competitor's consoles are in trouble.

It COULD be bad news for the competition AS LONG AS they don't mention "$599 us dollars.....Giant Enemy Crab.....and Riiidge Racer!!!"

For reals though, I'd like to see an Uncharted 4 demo and a max price of $399.

Turkish would have made the same thread if MS had announced it first. Somehow the event would benefit the PS4, because Sony knows how to counter what MS showed.

Yes, but then it kicked off reasonably well. Not original DS numbers, but it's still selling ok. The Vita, next to it, is abysmal.

No one in this thread has been going on about Wii U leading next gen. They're mocking people who think WiiU stands no chance against the likes of PS4 because it will have better hardware.

Maybe. Or maybe you do. Care to explain? If I missed something, I'd like to be told what it is.

Because the way I see it, I'm saying that the outcome won't be decided based on past performances. You're saying that people are mocking people based on... what nobody knows yet. Anything could happen. The Wii U may or may not start selling heavenly and outdo its competitors. Mocking people over something that has no grounds for debate isn't really going to push the conversations in a constructive direction.

It was just a simple line of joke is all, I like to poke at certain extreme people on this site lol...... Kinda miss Selnor in that regard :P Think we have the most in the Sony camp right now after lilbro died off from the Nintendo side and selnor asked for perma ban on himself from the MS side haha..... we still have dirty2xxwhatever from Germany though for the MS camp. I kinda keep a tab on the crazies.
