Why am I not surprised?

No kidding and I have been banned for bringing up this. So I figured since there is proof, time to post.

I'm guessing you were probably banned for suggesting a blanket stereotype that all conservatives are racist, which is obviously not true.

No I said  big portion of them are from polls. So no I didn't just push that out there but I can also provide a ton of bills and laws that they have tried to push to prove it to. That also includes woman and all. So what am I missing? If your republican you should know the laws trying to be passed. Maybe you don't.

can you link the post you are refering to as the one kantor presented didn't actually say anything about racism.  As far as polls go, if I recall the polls that were issued during the presidential election it did find republicans were slightly more likely to be racist than democrats.  I think it was something like 52 to 48 or something like that.  Not really a significant difference...

Also, I'm not a republican, nor am I a Democrat.  I agree Republicans are wrong on a lot of issues, like abortion.  However, Democrats are wrong on a lot of issues as well.  I know I have had this argument with you before so I'm not going to go into it that far.  Your problem is you actively look for problems with the republican ideology but completely ignore them with the democratic ideology.  Both sides have strengths and both sides have weakness, and trying to slap stereotypes onto something so large and encompassing as a political party is just a way of supressing your own understanding of the issues.

Have a good day

In the 26 major civil rights votes after 1933, a majority of Democrats opposed civil rights legislation in over 80 percent of the votes.

By contrast, the Republican majority favored civil rights in over 96 percent of the votes.

The Civil Rights Act of 1965 was passed because of Republican votes.  2/3rds of Democrats voted against it.  2/3rds of Republicans voted for it.

If you want to play these little games and pretend an entire party is racist.....take a look at the terrible history of your own party when it comes to civil rights.

Honestly if people would stop accusing others of being racist and would stop talking about race in every issue then this country would probably move past race.  Stop talking race and let the issue die so we can all move past it.  Race shouldn't matter.  We are all just people.  That is all that should matter.

HAAAAAAAAAAAA! this shows you hav no clue what you talking about. Political party's are very fluid, meaning they change. The republicans now are the democrates of the past. SO to say that something from almost a 100 years ago is relevant today is funny.

Haaaaaaah!and this shows you have absolutely no clue what you are talking about. And you will never realize that the rich guys only use this stupid left/right game to tear people apart-the bad old divide and rule game.Do you really think both parties turned 180degrees at the same time?impossible.A party will never change the fundamental agenda,as the hardliners would never allow this. They only change just because of the show.

as former gouvernour, statesman and wrestler jesse ventura said."politics=wrestling.It's only show for the people"

Now lets take a look at 1965 when the civil rights act was passed thanks to the republicans. At that time the(former right wing) democrats already were the leftist.Remember Kennedy?bobby and jfk-so left,so democrats, pro black movement.

How could left kennedies become no1 of a right wing party?impossible.

And how democratic is a democratic party that oppose such a democratic thing as the civil rights act.

(last election:

official story:Romney opposing obamacare

reality:Romney was one of the inventors and was massively pushing the thing that is now called obamacare, but as soon as the election campaign started he was opposing his own plans?impossible.

GW bush took away rights from american people and started killing people in foreign countries=leftists protesting,

obama came and did the same, even worser(ndaa,drones)-No more leftists left to protest.though Nothing has changed.

HAAAAAAAA!  What are we laughing about? The fantasy land that you are living in.

I have seen this excues a million times.  1965 was not 100 years ago.

Democrats were the most racist party back then and voted against almost everything that had to do with Civil Rights.  That is a fact.  Most of these people have died off though and neither party is racist like you like to claim.

The number of true racists today is very small believe it or not.

They are irrelevant.

Anyway, most lifelong Democrats that were agianst Civil Rights stayed Democrats.  A few switched over and became known as Dixiecrats though.

Most of the Dixiecrats did not become Republicans. They created the Dixiecrats and then, when the civil rights movement succeeded, they returned to the Democratic fold. It was not till much later, with a new, younger breed of Southerner and the thousands of Northerners moving into the South, that Republicans began to make gains.

Guys like Richard Russell, Mendell Rivers, Clinton's mentor William Fulbright, Robert Byrd, Fritz Hollings and Al Gore Sr. remained Democrats till their dying day.

Democrats held the south for a long time.  Every southern state voted for Carter in 1976.  By the 80's most of the old racists had died off.  Almost every House of Representative member elected in the south for decades after the Civil Rights Act was a Democrat.

In 2013 mosat of the southern states now vote Republican.  Just because southern states used to be racist it isn't true anymore except in backwater areas (like certain spots in Mississippi)

Democratic/ Republican is a fluid term . HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH! Ur in fantasy land.  Yet using proof from 40 years ago to prove that republican legislation that is going on right now is not racist. You are deverting the converstation.

I love how all the people attach liberal to stuff all the time. Funny, "ITS LIBERAL AND FOX NEWS TELLS ME LIBERALS ARE BAD. Wait a minute I don't even now what liberal means, Lets ask fox news or better yet Rush Limbaugh. "LOL

Funny conservatives call them selfs conservative and do the exact opposite. Use the goverment powers to regulate a girls reproductive system. LOL

This whole post is quite hilarious actually. It seems you don't know what you are doing currently.

"Mother Jones reports that Conservatives are all White Supremacists! IT MUST BE TRUE!" Seriously, stop being so lopsided. Both parties have their faults. That's a fact.

I have legislation, you have nothing accept both have their faults and that doesn 't make it acceptable. Ask My girlfriend and her friends how sexist the party is. You people seem to work back to get your answer, meaning you already make up your mind and than work back to find information to support your already made up mind.

There are major difference's. Do I agree with democrates more? yes. However they have been shifted over to the right from the money of the rich. I will agree with you there and that is why progressives right now are trying to take back over the democratic party. And this is how. I think you should have a look. You most likely will like what they do. http://www.progressiveparty.org/

It's difficult to argue with someone when they are so biased about this. I'm dropping the conversation.

"You people" again, nice job generalizing this whole thing.

What you all need to understand is that one person, a few people, or even a large "group" of people do not represent the whole.

So, post what you want about conservatives (or any group), because I personally know more conservatives than probably most of you, of whom would denounce any sort of intolerable and pathetic behavior.

And, no, I won't watch your video because I don't believe in this nonsense and I won't give it any further credence than by what you have by posting it on here. White supremacists are at the bottom of our society and don't deserve any credit or any kind, period.

And for the record, I'm not exactly "conservative."

The people who fund the conservative's and hold major power are the ones donating money to the super pac. That has major effect.

Interesting that just because a group supports white issues means that its racist. I guess that makes the NAACP racist, right?

What, exactly, are "white issues"?

This is what annoys me about America - this polarised view of everything. And yes, I'd consider the NAACP racist, too... it's just that, in America, there's still rampant racism that they're working against, so it's not quite so bad.

This, by the way, is from an Australian.

All racism is bad and it don't matter what side.
