I am going to say that this year will probably be closer to what 2011 was and put to shame the lackluster 2012.

WiiU and 3DS(!) finally with awesome games on the horizon, possible PS4/Nextbox launch...yeah, could be great.

The last of us, nothing more needs 2 be said.

Maybe. If Bioshock, LoU, or Gears turn out to be ho-hum then suddenly the year looks pretty meh.

Then again we'll have at least one new console so who really knows.

This year is packed with great new titles, so I believe it will be significantly better than 2012 in terms of video games. I'll name a few: Grand Theft Auto V, Beyond, The Last of Us, Metal Gear Rising, BioShock Infinite, Dead Space 3, Crysis 3, and God of War Ascension. Not to mention the possible release of Ground Zeroes releasing before the year comes to an end.

GTA V, Beyond: Two Souls, GoW Ascension and possibly Sly Cooper are also some pretty nice titles. 

Yeah, I didn't get them all in there, but those are also some great titles for this year. Better start saving money now for this years titles or else you'll be going broke.

Are you kidding me, 2012 was a great year with P4G, Walking Dead, Journey, Borderlands 2, FTL, Hotline Miami, Papo&Yo, Gravity Rush, Unfinished Swan. It was the year of DL games.

I'm sorry but I think you haven't gamed on the right platforms.
