That is true I was comparing a crappy Samsung product. I haven't used android outside of Samsung junk so maybe you are right. I'm just going off experience

I could care less about the Ipad. Such a silly device. Better than my iphone but not good enough to be used instead of my Laptop. It's in the middle, therefore has little use for me personally.

Tablets no one ever had, apple release a good tablet an pd it sells in the 10s of millions so everyone else has to make a tablet that runs android. Everyone who hates apple because they think that's 'cool' has to buy a tablet because apple fans buy tablets. It's interesting. |
Kudos to apple for bringing new technology to market..
On a side note explain it to me you find it interesting that every non apple fan buy tablet because apple fans buy iPads..Dont you find it interesting that Apple needed to release 4.0 inch iPhone just because Samsung sells 10s of millions of 4.0 inch and above devices :)
Apple is following Android these days..and seeing the cost for the new 128 GB model of their device..i can say people supporting Apple still needs a reality check!
I always find it strange to see this complaint on a video game forum, considering both Sony and Microsoft do exactly the same thing.

But then again the Nexus 7 is not 10 inch.
But also, a tablet doesnt need to be fast to display some websites/ look at some pictures/ listen to some music.
OT: 128 GB of storage sounds like the future

Look at Samsung smart phones before the iPhone ;)
De Nexus 10 is actually nothing special compared to other high-end Android tablets. Quality of text and UI looks great but it is not smooth in gaming and browsing is irritating since it's not good as a desktop browser. Comparing this to a Surface and especially the Surface Pro I think the last one is far better than the Nexus 10. The iPad in its simplicity and speed is also really great compared to the Nexus 10. It's only expensive. Just watch some comparison videos on youtube

That's not 100% true. My provider is selling the Galaxy S3 32GB on contract for $99.99 and the Lumia 920 for $49.99. I've never seen the iPhone 5 in this price range. That said, I still prefer the iPhone. |
The Lumia is priced where it is to gain marketshare. Windows needs marketplace presence.
As for the SIII, that's becoming an old phone. It launched at $200, like like most other premium phones.

iPad is more smooth and has better resolution but is overpriced..and in the end a better priced product will sell..that is why android shipments keep on rising over the years..What you have stated is just your opinion..you cant justify apple has no competition in tablet market..one can say android too doesn't have any competetion in mobile OS market(keeping in mind of lack of competitive priced devices from competition). |
How is the iPad overpriced? Because it doesn't compete with Google subsidizing their Nexus line of tablets and phones to gain marketshare?
Logic fail. Most companies try to sell their products at a profit. Just because Google doesn't subscribe to that model doesn't mean that every other tablet on the market is overpriced. The base model iPad is very competitive at $500.

I have only used about half of my 32GB Ipad. Really couldn't imagine needing 128GB or wanting it at that price.
