LOL the surface RT was dead on release, the Pro is even MORE expensive with no apps. Surface 1st gen products are already dead. They will have to work a lot harder to dent Apple with there next line up

Android is a mess? Huge news to me. Sounds like someone should try a Nexus 7

My dads an Android sheep and brought some Samsung 10inch thing about 2 weeks ago, slow and a mess. Il stick to my good products :D

Thats competition? Knowing Microsoft if they dont dent them they'll drop it along with all the consumers who invested in it. I invested in the Zune (twice) and tried to believe they were they genuine article, I just don't trust them over Apple. They dropped the brand too soon and spread the Xbox brand to take its place since they dented Sonys marketshare. It was just too generic and the integration wasn't as good as Itunes with the IPhone. The only thing that can even pull me away from the IPhone is probably Samsung's new phone, but Im still content.

Congrats to you too. iPad an overpriced tablet in the tablet market..i'm disappointed with good pricing on Apple tablets.

iPad is more smooth and has better resolution but is overpriced..and in the end a better priced product will sell..that is why android shipments keep on rising over the years..What you have stated is just your opinion..you cant justify apple has no competition in tablet market..one can say android too doesn't have any competetion in mobile OS market(keeping in mind of lack of competitive priced devices from competition).

How much marketshare does the iPad have? Last I heard it was 80% or something. I'm not an iOS user, I use a S2 and looking out for Xperia Z, but when it comes to high end tablets, Android platform is a joke.

you mean the mess that android provides by replacing any default application to your prefernce ?.. browser.contacts.mail etc ?
you mean the mess that android provide to perform function through many apps which aint available on iOS ?
you mean the mess that notification system provide with easy icons to detect as well as simple order of recent one at the top which aint on iOS ?
you mean the easy access to your favorite app content through widget which iOS still doesnt have ?

And if android is a mess..why is apple now following it ?

53.8 % Apple tablet market share.

And yes Android high end tablets is a joke...but it will improve. it is not like iPad became a high end tablet overnight.

Nexus 10 is here and more high res android devices will come soon..just like recent surge of 1080 p 5 inch android phones.

There will be a 100 things different on each side that are positive or negative to the user. My point is android sheep think apple users are sheep. But who's the real sheep? 

Tablets no one ever had, apple release a good tablet an pd it sells in the 10s of millions so everyone else has to make a tablet that runs android. Everyone who hates apple because they think that's 'cool' has to buy a tablet because apple fans buy tablets. It's interesting.
