So, who can play Link?
If they want star power to attract wider audience, personally, as much as I'm not too fond of a guy, I can only envision Timothee Chalamet in the role, though having star power can be a double-edged sword.

It could be Owen Teague, who was in Wes Ball’s Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. He’s young, he’s worked with the director before, and he’s not so famous as to be potentially distracting.
I suspect they’ll go with a youthful, up-and-coming actor — someone who wouldn’t look out of place on the CW

Yeah, I'm thinking they will go with less known actor as well - especially if they decide to go with non talking Link (which I really hope for).

I was just prepping for the upcoming Switch 2 pre-order window, and I realized there are new Zelda Amiibo on the way! Although they're damn expensive at $30 a pop...

Happy 2nd birthday, Tears of the Kingdom!
TotK launched May 12, 2023. Can’t wait to see what the new Zelda adventures await us on Switch 2 :)
For those who have specific itch to scratch, demo only so far, but I found it to be very OoT alike, both in N64 gfx style and overall feel of the game, Azaran Islands of the Jinn:

Nice find! It definitely has that nostalgic pull.
That octagonal water pillar makes me think immediately of Ocarina :)

This reminds me...I've been meaning to post this for a couple weeks.
There are new Switch icon elements based on The Legend of Zelda. You just need to play Zelda II and Ocarina of Time via NSO to access them. Deadline is June 30!

To be honest, if I saw this on some random Steam page, I would've probably skipped it. But I ran across some article saying it really plays like OoT, so I had to try it - they weren't lying, it really does. I' guessing this is probably a solo dev effort, with great love for OoT style Zelda and sufficient technical skills to pull it off, so looking forward to full release.

I was in Manhattan this past weekend to see a show and visit some friends, and I stopped by the Nintendo Store.
