Anyone else notice how Rupees are extremely hard to come by now?

I don't have a single one yet.

Didn't pick one up until a chest in a shrine 7 hours or so in, it really factors in when you start going to villages and settlement as they sell useful gear.

Yeah I also got some now, Silver Rupee, from a chest somewhere in the overworld. Only one I found so far, besides getting money from selling stuff.

This game is so different from other Zelda games!

Yep, at the beginning. But I have now about... 1000 rupees selling stuff and finding some rupees on my way. I purchased a cool Sheikah armor set. Beautiful XD.

This one in the back?

Yep, yep, exactly XD. I know that the stats are weak for defence, but you don't know how much fun I have raiding enemy camps at night with it XD.

The moment I entered the shop I knew that at some point I'm coming back for it, lesser defence or not.

It's hard to describe but the one thing about BOTW's open world over other open world games is that the sheer scope to immersion also matches the scale to make the world feel alive. To give an example when OOT launched the was nothing else like it in the way it did things and this is what BOTW recreates, little things like when you go into a shop in BOTW the's no messing around on a menu screen you just walk up to the item you want and buy it.

To think the's an alternate story coming in DLC in the holiday period.

Actually really disliking this game..... its hard for me to say this as a massive zelda fan but its really not doing it for me. I hate dying in one or two hits and i hate weapons breaking in one or two hits. It takes forever to get anywhere through a largely boring overword, which i guess could be alleviated if i could call a horse from anywhere. Even then the horses stop running way to easily with changes in terrain. The whole game feels like its throwing roadblocks in the way of me enjoying it, which is a shame as there has been moments where nintendo magic has shone through.

I've had my brother staying over at my place two night's in a row, so I haven't gotten to play all that much yet :( I just left the Great Plateau, after exploring every nook and cranny there. I'm loving it so far though :D My brother was so impressed that he ran out and bought a Switch just for this game ^^

This truly feels like a return to form for Zelda; I've longed for a modern take on the original game, and that's what I got :D

I'm on Twitter @DanneSandin!

Furthermore, I think VGChartz should add a "Like"-button.
