Sick stuff by BSG!

"Just for comparison Uncharted 4 was 20x bigger than Splatoon 2. This shows the huge difference between Sony's first-party games and Nintendo's first-party games."

Two Zelda Games Detailed at Today's Nintendo Digital Presentation

Hyrule Warriors Legends, the port for Nintendo 3DS of last year's Hyrule Warriors on Wii U, will launch early next year, Nintendo said this morning in its E3 Nintendo Direct. The game is targeted for the first quarter of 2016. A video discussion with Eiji Aonuma, the Legend of Zelda series producer, said Hyrule Warriors Legends will include all DLC from the original, plus characters and stages from The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker Nintendo tipped off Hyrule Warriors for 3DS in a surprise Nintendo Direct earlier this month. The game is being made by Omega Force and Team Ninja. Characters Tetra and the King of Hyrule will join the game, and Hyrule Warriors Legends also appears to be compatible with the Wii U version of Hyrule Warriors.

It's not quite the long-awaited Wii U game, but Nintendo does have a new Legend of Zelda coming for 3DS. It's called Triforce Heroes, and is a multiplayer-focused dungeon crawler in line with the Four Swords spin-off series. Players can work together to solve puzzles, get through dungeons and take down bosses, all with a more co-operative vibe than the often chaotic Four Swords games. And, unlike Four Swords, which was often difficult to get players together for, Triforce Heroes will be online-enabled. No release date has been given just yet.

YES A FOUR SWORDS ADVENTURE SEQUEL.

Too bad people were still expecting Zelda U to be shown. If Zelda U wasn't going to be delayed, this news wouldn't piss people off.

FOUR SWORDS ADVENTURE WAS A GOOD GAME PEOPLE

/rant over

Yes, and no-one is happy about it.

I can't believe they delayed a real Zelda for this crap. Four Swords is a terrible game with a terrible concept that didn't deserve to be a canon Zelda game, and just for shits and giggles they decide to do that again. Just because they can, while no-one asked for it. If anything this prooves Aonuma to be lying about the reason Zelda U got delayed, this had nothing to do with them wanting to implement new ideas apparently, no, Aonuma just wanted to waste time by d***ing around. I've defended him multiple times, but that's done. After how this gen is going, he must go.

I think I'm just going to take a hard look at my stack of older Zelda games to remind myself of the time when they actually held the name to a high esteem and made inspiring games.

While I agree Four Swords Adventures isn't a great game -- in my mind it's the worst canonical Zelda game -- I'm actually excited to play Tri Force Heroes. It looks like a lot of fun to me.

Of course I'd rather play Zelda for Wii U, but I don't mind playing a fun co-op dungeon crawler while I wait.

I'll play it.

I'll buy and play it, maybe even day one, but I doubt I'll really like it. Truth is if this was any other franchise I wouldn't have even turned my head. That alone says a lot about how high the pedestal is on which I place the Zelda series, because I'm extremely picky and the slightest thing can potentially put me off usually. Who knows, maybe if the planets are aligned this isn't terrible and I couldn't live without knowing. I just can't fathom why they thought we needed this 3DS game instead of just putting all resources towards Zelda U.

Not gonna buy anymore Zelda games until Zelda HD is on shelves.

BTW, I asked before E3 if Zelda will be at E3
