I forgot about Soul Sacrifice.  I think that'll be a good game.  Tearaway looks interesting.

Otherwise, I don't care for remakes, HD versions, or PS3 ports/crossplay.  I can play littlebigplanet on the PS3.  I heard assassin's creed vita isn't that good. I'm not really interested in persona 4 and that's a remake.  I've already played FF10.

See that in my  opinion the thing stopping Vita from selling well. You threw out a bunch of games by saying "already got it on ps3." People need to umderstand most Vita games aren't downports but actually upgrades. Wipeout 2048 is better than HD, and even includes HD and Fury's campaigns if you bought them on PS3. LBP Vita is pretty much LBP3. All the old features are there while a bunch of new ones are added.

Did this turn into a recommendation thread? I wanted a doom thread! Dang it!

I hear that if you buy the PS3 version of Agent, you get the Vita version for free! If that doesn't excite you, then you are dead inside.

This year Terraway, killzone mercenary and Soul Sacrifice

PS4 - over 100 millions let's say 120m
Xbox One - 70m
Wii U - 25m

Vita - 15m if it will not get Final Fantasy Kingdoms Heart and Monster Hunter 20m otherwise
3DS - 80m

OP: From a developers perspective; would you really want to pour any kind of money into developing a game for the Vita?

Did anyone else notice that the Vita was out sold by the PSP AND DS? Il admit Im a PS fanboy but I wouldn't buy a Vita. Half the games are just ports from the PS3, then you got Uncharted and Resistance which looked very subpar compared to the main games on PS3. Yes there seems to be some games that don't look to bad but not whole lot. Killzone is a good start but its going to take more than that to sway someof us who are still waiting for more.

Yes but Bioshock Vita has been announced, too. So has Resident Evil Portable or The Elder Scrolls Portable. Or Monster Hunter Vita. Announcements mean jack shit, especially formal announcements without any gameplay footage.

Wait, did i miss something?

Don't pay him any mind, he is just being obtuse. Bioshock Vita was announced but has since dissapeared and their teams are concentrating on Infinity. The others are rumors or fan demand. FFX HD is announced and being developed.

Right now, in terms of actual existence, FF X stands on the same page as Monster Hunter Portable 3rd for Vita, literally. Maybe I'm just a little burned because I bought the Vita solely because a Bioshock game was announced for it. Announced 2011, listed under coming soon, and developement hasn't even started by 2013. Maybe I'm not that obtuse afterall and you are just in denial.

Ongoing bet with think-man: He wins if MH4 releases in any shape or form on PSV in 2013, I win if it doesn't.

There aren't many which is precisely the reason it is struggling. Call of Duty could have been that game but it was a rushed game by a bad developer.

I can think of a couple already out, with many falling just short of AAA quality or ambition.

If you're looking for niche titles though, no handheld is lacking.
