Expectations heightened when the LinkedIn profile of Straight Right’s Chris Slater revealed that the Australian studio were porting a triple-A Square Enix game to Wii U.

Translation: Final Fantasy XIII coming to Wii-U, enjoy.

Nonono, it has to be Kingdom Hearts III!

Oh my goodness... if this is true... I don't even... oh my goodness...!!!

I really hope your interpretation of this is right.

I wonder what they would put in the Wii-U version....if it does come out I just hope it isnt JUST a better looking port.

I wouldnt mind getting it....maybe....again...even though I got the PS3 ver for $14.99 new copy.....>.>

All I would need is a Combo pack of FFXIII, FFXIII-2, and that one Lightning game and I would be sold.

I'd be satisfied if the port wasn't WORSE.

give me next gen games not current gen games!!!

A somewhat legit excuse, though that is one excuse that I'm afraid of.

Developers not porting or multiplating to Wii U, because they THINK they need to do something unique or special for the Wii U.

They need to realize that you can have normal games on this device as well, it doesn't need to be tailored to use the gamepad in some unique way or any wii motes. Just have it be normal.

I'm just glad it'll be coming to PC.

When this game fails to be as much of a success as they thought it would be, do not say you weren't warned.

because being released on the WIi U; a console with a fraction of the userbase that either platforms its already being released on, will make all the difference in the world? Riiight.

....

It does not matter where Tomb Raider is. A raptor will tear at its sales no matter which console it is on.

Leatherhat on July 6th, 2012 3pm. Vita sales:"3 mil for COD 2 mil for AC. Maybe more. "  thehusbo on July 6th, 2012 5pm. Vita sales:"5 mil for COD 2.2 mil for AC."

Tomb Raider is NOT AAA.  But anyway, a developer not trying to maxamize their sales....what is new, this is why the industry has been declining for so long.

Not AAA?  What are you basing that on?  It would surprise me greatly if it's not listed as AAA by every single distributor out there.

On topic, yeah, that's just an excuse for "we don't think it would be worth the resources".
