Can't you just be happy???

You'll most likely be given a redeem code for the demo. If you read the article it says that you will get step by step instructions on how to get the demo of the Last of Us. You're going to have to buy it!! MWUAHAHHA SONY

Will avoid more media on this game unless it is multiplayer based. So skipping on this demo even if they make it public.

True, it could be reverse psychology! more Last of Us will now be sold after people play the demo!!!!!!! I'm all for that!

I see that as the primary incentive.  Come on LoU is the new IP and GoW is the multi million seller.  They know GoW will be in lots of people's hands and those people will now have a good chance of getting LoU once they get a taste.  This isn't a Crackdown and Halo 3 scenario where the earlier game is clearly smaller.  I don't think a lot of people will pay $60 for a demo a month and half before LoU releases.
