Hello again guys,

I was just recieved a recommendation for the 'Angry Gamer'  reviews from a friend and much in the same vein I am referring him to you. His reviews are very, very good and are broken up into segments over a twenty minute period so he can express what is good or bad about certain games without overly praising or attacking a game you don't generally like. He opens up with hilarious skits (especially with the DMC review) and then takes the game in a more light hearted but opinionated fashion. In a way he's not majorly biased like some shows and sites but can find a reason to play many games. Back to my point though, this guy basically picks apart Kingdoms of Amalur and has assessed much like I have that it is the game Fable should have been. Kingdoms reeks of a Fable game made for the avid action RPG gamer in you and looking back at it I so agree. I also agree with his negative observations about the game, and he brought to light little annoyances or amazing things that I didnt even pay attention to or passed over. It's sad this franchise suffered such a horrible end along with the studio. Anyway, check out the video and lets see what you think! :)

I'll watch the video later, but I like Fable 2 more than K.A. and like K.A. just slightly more than Fable 3. They do have a very similar style, but I think I just prefer the whimsical world of Fable a bit more than K.A.

wow, we must have very different tastes. This guy is terrible. Opening skit is not hilarious, it is stupid. He is not funny, at all. He had some valid points, but he presented them in such an obnoxious manner... ugh.

So...besides your opinion of him, what was off about what he said?

I said he had some valid point, I don't actually disagree with much of what he said, I just couldn't stand listening to him say it.  I did disagree with him when he said the characters were responsive, as most of them just stare blankly at you when they talk, without twitching a muscle...

KoA is a million times better than fable 3. Even better than two. One thing i know is a good RPG, and while fable was an awesome idea and original concept, it became a steamy pile of dog shit in fable 2. Just thinking about fable pisses me off...sorry. I defended those games until i couldn't anymore.

KoA is not perfect, but its an awesome RPG with great combat. Its true shame that we will not see any more games from that franchise.

All the fable games have had huge potential to be great, and they have all been huge let downs at release.  

I defended Fable because it showed promise. Fable 2 was a piece of shit and that ending....good god. Can you spoil that!? LOL

He stated that the characters were lifeless and so was your relationship with them as well as the bosses. Essentially he was in agreement with you (well...at least for that aspect of the game you accused him saying were responsive).

im talking about the part at 11:50 when he says they are expressive, i dont agree. not exactly a major issue, which is why my original post just said he had valid points...
