yeah... kickstarter is cool for indie developers, but i don't like the idea of financing games for bigger studios (and Double Fine is in the middle, i think).

but i loved the games on the PS2, so i'd give my money for that.

Most of them are pretty worthless

I think Full Spectrum Warrior could work now given the more popular and demanded on-line co-op experiences and teams.

Also uDraw could be a profitable game/aplication for those devices which don't require extra hardware, 3DS, PSVita, WiiU (now that there's still no Art Academy) or, less likely, smartphones.

Would also be interested in seeing if there could be a Homeworld 3 that lives up to the previous three games.

I'm pretty sure Interplay still owns the freespace IP

Freespace was a great game. I wish there were like them. Same for homeworld series.
