Yeah, I undertand I should be punished for my irresponsibiliy and my lack of care, but me (and my buddies) are at the point of desperation.
Basically, it's a small HS project due in two weeks. We focused on the outer armor and failed to design or research the weapon. We investigated a couple of solutions but they were ultimately rejected.
We are supposed to add a flamethrowe, but apart from controlling it from the outside, we have no idea how to trigger it. Is that a matter of a valve or how do i produce the spark and ultimately the fire?
Then, we need another weapon. Electrovalves are expensive and rare in my country, which overrules many creative possibilities. We were thinking on something on the line of a blender engine or saw outside, but it's already overly used and in past years it hasn't been very effective for the competitors. We were thinking on Acid throwers or something in the line of that.
I heard something of a klystron out of an old microwave and something like that, but I'm not familiar with that. Any further information would be much appreciated.
As a sidenote, none of the restrictions ever used in contest apply, thus, we can go wild in the design.
