PS3 has better announced exclusives this year, hands down. Obviously come E3 that could all change. For now though, it's really no contest.

While I agree I have no idea what this has to do with the OP........

On behalf of the PlayStation Nation i apologize for what that person said. He is obviously lost.

Anybody who will buy Gears J has already played Gears 1. So this is really unnecessary.

I'm not sure that entirely true. For those that do buy th game without playing the others will like the bonus and those who have played the game will like that they can play the original without their retail disc so if they want to they can trade it or sell it. Not worth much after all these years, but still an option.

Not interested I already canceled my pre-order. The game looks like Gears 3 so casual.
$65 DLC Confirmed. I'm more excited for The Last Guardian.

Another reason to play my 360 save for Halo.

You play gears to save halo ?

What? It's another way as saying Gears is a major reason I play my 360 and Halo impressed me enough to keep my 360.

I can't help but wonder if it actually is in response to the shockingly low pre-orders or if it was something planned all along. I feel kind of bad for People Can Fly, to be honest (though I disliked BulletStorm a lot). How has the marketing been for this game? Microsoft and Epic haven't thrown it out to die, have they?

Very interesting. Is microsoft doing this to increase sales or increase value?

If it is sales then they are really worried about the other competition that month and are doing this as a last ditch effort to save the game. Consumers like me who only have GeOW 3 are now more likely to buy it.

Or they expect the game to sell well but are worried about a consumer backlash. "This isn't even half the game GeOW 3 was yet it costs just as much." They are adding this to make consumers believe $60 is a fair price.

It would be really bad if both of these reasons are true.

You never even had it pre-ordered, did you?

Meh, I already have the trilogy, but its a nice code I can sell to someone else.

If true thats actually pretty handy for me since I only ever rented the first game, I have been meaning to buy Gears 1 for a while now and I was getting Judgement anyway.
