Guess not.

Let me see if this helps. For Durango:

Rendering into ESRAM: Yes.
Rendering into DRAM: Yes.
Texturing from ESRAM: Yes.
Texturing from DRAM: Yes.
Resolving into ESRAM: Yes.
Resolving into DRAM: Yes.

For the 360, that would be yes, no, no, yes, no, yes.

Don't know why from a 3.2 GHz CPU they are going for half clock speed.

because it has 2x the cores and next=gen is far more GPU focused than CPU.

So, CPU clock means nothing? What if it was 8 core 3.0 GHz CPU?

as i don't fully understand what this means i've said it before and i'll say it again, no 4k 120fps = no buy, well see later this year.

My god you have completely unrealistic expectations.

THERE WILL BE NO GAMES IN 4K @ 30FPS, LET ALONE 120FPS.

720p60fps will be standard with 1080p30/60fps hitting a good percentage... and that's a very good step up from what was here this gen.

I know you really don't want the next gen consoles to be powerful and I know how hard you hope they'll be in the ballpark of WiiU, but no. If PS4 has 7900M, 1080p@60fps will be pretty much the standard, with some PSN games being 4K.

Interesting you think this way....would you like to bet? I say no games on PSN will be 4k (upscale doesn't count), the game has to be rendered at 4k.

It would consume too much power and produce too much heat for a console. Keep in mind that the CPU in the 360 was pretty inefficient clock for clock by today's standard, newer architecture helps. Clock speed is not the only factor.

Orbis is simply much better than Durango in specs.

4xMove engines have nothing to do with Kinect. They're straight up graphical performance enhancers.

When did I say it meant nothing? I said that they chose to downclock the CPU but double its cores with the reasoning that GPUs are far more important now.

Durango will always be a car in my head. Hopefully, they'll use another name.

Agreed. I hope the rumored "Infinity" name is true. Oh, wait...

I think Dodge should sue Microsoft.

.... and that's where I am not sure how to relate this info in my comparison thread. Same goes with the special sauce likely found in PS4 as well.
