Probably but it won't stop me. i love the snow anyway, its beautiful. it couldn't of happened at a better time, as it's birthday tommorow. It's like an extra present to me :) Also it's there own loss if they choose to not go to work, as soon as they realise it is not going anywhere, they should carry on with their lives, unless they don't want money

Someone understands! Snow is one of the best things ever.

As long as you don't have to go anywhere. Where I live most of the traffic currently has broken down since all roads are frozen over due to freezing rain (all Autobahnen in Baden-Württemberg/Germany are blocked!). Trains can't drive either since the tram wires also are frozen.

It IS a beautiful view though :)

yea but not as pathetic as (my country) America.

At least half of our country can still work during the Winter.

sure, half of your country has no snow when the other half has snow^^

i mean, isn't it obvious that there is a huge difference between usa and uk? uk is very dependent of only one city and the region around it. if you have a chaos in that city it is a chaos for the country. in an american city or region, the rest is still fine. and i remember a lot of news with "100k households without power and thousands of cancelled flights" and stuff in usa.

That's what I was saying, basically. The 19 Million people down here in Florida can work their butts off all year round!

This country really isn't all that "Great" anymore. I become more and more disillusioned every day. If I could move, I sure would in a heartbeat.

Yay for great reporting. What a load of horse shit.

It isn't the county that's a mess it's the news media over here. Stupid as stupid can be.

What's horse shit? The OP acknowledged that this is indeed a problem in UK. Or am I missing something?

The original report is horse shit. Snow isn't going to cause a triple dip. If a triple dip is coming then its coming. Nothing to do with a bit of snow for a few days.

. They blamed the last recession on the royal wedding. So the snow will have an effect on the economy. Its not that stupid. Our economy is sensitive to fluctuations.

Is the economy that bad over there that it can't deal with a few days/weeks of snow?
And I figured Britain has had snow storms before...

We have snow every year for 1 to 2 weeks normally, sometimes more. And there could be an inch of snow at the airport, but 100's of flights are still cancelled. Most schools shut and people decide not to go to work. There's about 6 inches now and somehow it causes so many problems here. This country is never prepared for the weather, it just complains about it instead!

Wow. That's almost as big as my dick! It's only like 1-2 inches where I am. Where are you?

I hope we get a fucking blizzard so I can miss college

Yeah, if the government decided to block the Autobahnen you know you got some nasty shit right there^^

And with even trains not being able to drive I already wonder how to get to college tomorrow :)
