Well, no. More is better, even if less is faster. And I am not a tech-guy, but that is what all the people told me way before these rumors start to pop up.
Anyway, rumors are rumors. This one is already busted by UbiSoft, which is by far the most credible source we have heard in a long time. Way better than HipHopGamer.

The funniest part in this thread was the guy calling M.U.G.E.N. a MS fanboy for doubting a rumor. That was priceless.

IMO the most credible source so far is the MS documents that were leaked some time ago that said they tried to make the XBox 3 about 6-8 times more powerful than the 360, which is fine for me. I just played Halo 4 and it looks just great to me, so giving devs 6-8 times more power to play with should be more than enough to create great gaming experiences.

4g GGDR5 is more expensive then 8bg ddr3, ddr3 is very slow ram, its good for os, apps and features, its not ideal for gaming, read the digital foundry article.

4gb ggdr5 >>> 8gb ddr3

Simple then,change to 6GB GDDR5 or 12GB DDR3(maybe+ed/esram)

Why you think MS will go lame+low RAM when their GPU will be 384bit?

because  rumors are saying this and developers are pretty much confirming. they chose ddr3 over gddr5 because they need the extra space of the os, kinect, and apps, its get the job done for what they wanna do.

first of all i trust digital foundry, they have a good reputation, second of all, we have a developer confirming that both the specs fro durongo and orbis are pretty spot on, barring some minor details, i would love the next xbox to be a beast like the xbox brand always has been, but its not looking likely.

A lot of what Digital Foundry posted is either rumor or specultaion.

Developer huh,so if the developr talk trash to the Durango,you will simply trust it,but if that developor said something good about Durango,or if he said PS4 and Durango will be identical,you will just ignore it,because it not what you wishing.

- GPU: ~ Radeon 7970M in power, 18 compute units @ 800MHz (I'd seen 8830-8850 rumoured but also comments that those - were fake)
- Memory: 4GB GDDR5 @ 192GB/s bandwidth - 512MB reserved for OS -> 3.5GB for games
- Extra: "Compute module"

Durango
- CPU: 8-core Jaguar @ 1.6GHz
- GPU: ~ ? in power (DF says potentially weaker than Orbis), 12 compute units
- Memory: 8GB DDR3 @ 68GB/s bandwidth - 3GB reserved for OS (rumoured it may be down to 1-1.5GB though) -> 5-7GB for games
- Extra: "ESRAM" (small amount of faster RAM, 102GB/s bandwidth), other custom chips

If that's true I doubt I'll have any interest in the Nextbox. They lack compelling exclusives and a good deal of thier so called exclusives also come to pc. There would be no reason to play cross platforms games on the system. At least Nintendo will have stellar exclusives each year that are worth buying and wiiu for and PS4 would be worth playing multiplats on.  Not seeing value in the next xbox right now.
